Surface Protection Film

8-10 mil transparent anti-microbial film designed to provide impact protection as well as protection from other various damaging elements. Composed of high-grade polyurethane and a self-healing, crystal-clear topcoat this film will help prevent scratches, stains, edging, chipping and even burns from permanently damaging or staining the surface in question. The film comes both in high gloss and satin finish, making it perfect for high gloss or epoxy finished surfaces as well as honed surfaces.

SCRATCHING

Over time, any surface is sustainable to scratches, even from just cleaning! When dirt is wiped away from a high gloss surface, dust particles and dirt will create small micro scratches on the surface, and although this may not seem like a big deal, you will soon start to notice what we refer to as swirl marks, which over time become very noticeable to the naked eye, especially when light reflects on it. By installing our film, not only will that surface be protected for years down the road, but it will also stay looking new! Our films have self healing technology built in, which means by introducing heat (hot water, heat gun, etc.) all these light scratches and swirl marks will self-heal, leaving you with a fresh, new looking surface every time.

STAINING

Our films have been tested and proven, submerged in chemicals like gasoline, motor oil, acetone, lacquer thinner and acid for 30 minute intervals and left to dry with ZERO detrimental effect after 24 hours. This ensures all your surfaces stay protected against harmful chemicals that can leave permanent damage and cause costly repairs to your surfaces.

EDGING

Highly acidic or high in mineral substances like bird droppings or sprinkler water can permanently cause edging to any surface it lands on, especially in extremely hot climates! Our film will give you a lot more time to clean those substances without the film suffering damage, and in the case a stain is left behind.

PITTING/CHIPPING

There are many reasons why pitting and chipping can occur. Mineral salts and acidic chemicals can accumulate over time and cause any surface to start pitting and corroding, leaving the surface brittle and more susceptible to chipping from impact and causing permanent damage that can only be fixed by replacing or refinishing the surface in question. Invisilayer will prevent this from happening while keeping your surface protected and looking new! Our films have been tested for impact resistance and can withstand a 4.73 L of gravel shot at 70psi with no detrimental effect.

BURNING

While our film can’t withstand direct flame contact for extended period of time without melting, it can keep the surface underneath safe from permanent burn damage in case of an accident. It has been tested and proven to withstand extreme heat temperatures of over 170 F for over 15 days without showing any signs of deterioration, this means even surfaces that are close to extreme heat, like next to a grill or kitchen stove, will not suffer damage over time from exposure to constant heat!

UV DAMAGE

UV rays can deteriorate any surface over time especially in warmer tropical climates. This can result in fading, discoloration, brittleness, cracking, and even disintegration of various materials and surfaces. Our films will prevent this damage by acting as a barrier, absorbing and dispersing UV rays before they reach the underlying surface. This is what Invisilayer was designed to do! Our films were tested in the Florida sun facing south at 5 degrees for a period of 3 years, showing absolutely no signs of discoloration or degradation.

ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES

Our film is designed to inhibit the growth of microbes like bacteria, fungi, and mold on the surface of the film. This means any high-touch surfaces, from a touch screen to a full-size countertop and other appliance panels where sanitation may be a concern will be perfectly suited for our product, keeping your friends and family safe from potentially harmful infections.
